Mootopia is a real-time multiplayer farming world. Every player roams the same shared map, builds their own ranch, and grows a herd. It's free to play right now — no wallet required — with the $MOO token and on-chain rewards arriving next.

🕹️ How to Play

The core loop is simple and cozy:

Roam the ranch. Move with WASD / arrow keys, click-to-walk, or the on-screen joystick on mobile.
Harvest livestock. Walk up to an animal with a bubble and tap Harvest to collect its produce into your basket.
Chop & gather. Touch trees to chop them for wood 🪵 (they regrow over time).
Feed your herd. When an animal is hungry 🌾, tap Feed to keep it producing.
Sell at the Market. Press E near the 🏪 Market, open Sell, and trade produce + wood for coins 🪙.
Buy land & expand. Save coins, buy a plot, and stock it with your own animals. Repeat & grow.

Three livestock types, each producing a different good you can sell:

Hay 🌾 (×10 for 30 🪙) feeds hungry animals so they keep producing. Keep them fed for steady income.

Land is the big investment. Each plot is sold in one of four sizes — pricier plots hold a bigger herd, and every plot comes pre-stocked with animals you keep when you buy it.

To buy: walk onto any plot marked ▸ CLAIM and press E (or tap the floating Buy prompt) — or open Market → Buy Land to pick from every available plot. Land is scattered all across the (now 5× bigger) map, so explore to find the best spot.

🪙 Economy

Coins are the in-game currency. You earn them by selling produce & wood at the Market, and spend them on animals, hay and land.

Earn: harvest milk/wool/eggs, chop wood, then Sell at the Market. Claim the daily bonus.
Spend: buy livestock to grow output, hay to keep them fed, and land to scale up.
Grow: bigger plots = more animals = more produce = more coins → toward $MOO.

Your progress (coins, inventory, land & herd) is saved server-side and tied to your rancher ID.

👥 Multiplayer

Mootopia is server-authoritative and fully live. Everyone shares one world:

See other ranchers roam, farm and trade in real time.
Live online and total user counts on the HUD.
Set your display name and view who's online from the ⚙️ Settings panel.
Land is global — claim it before someone else does.

💎 $MOO Token

$MOO is the upcoming token of Mootopia on Solana. The game is playable today off-chain; the token + on-chain rewards land next.

Status: Contract Address (CA) — Coming Soon.
Planned utility: rewards for active ranchers, premium land/animals, and a player-driven economy.
Wallet: connect a Solana wallet (Phantom / Solflare / Backpack) on the site today — claiming features unlock at launch.

Is it free to play?

Yes — completely free, no wallet needed. Just open mootopia.fun and play.

Do I need a wallet?

Not to play. You can connect a Solana wallet now for identity; on-chain rewards arrive with $MOO.

Is $MOO live?

No. The CA is "Coming Soon" — watch our X for the official announcement.

How do I get land?

Earn coins by selling produce, then buy a plot via the Buy prompt or Market → Buy Land. It comes with a starter herd.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes — joystick to move, pinch to zoom, tap to harvest/feed/trade.
